In a significant move that signals its commitment to India's thriving real estate sector, Arnya RealEstates Fund Advisors has announced a ₹130 crore investment in a new residential project by Casagrand in South Bengaluru. The investment marks Arnya’s second major bet on India’s growing urban housing demand, following its debut funding for a project in Navi Mumbai in October 2024. Despite keeping the specifics of the South Bengaluru project under wraps, Arnya’s decision highlights its focused strategy on early-stage growth capital aimed at empowering top-tier developers in India’s metro cities. Arnya’s investment comes through its maiden fund, the Arnya Real Estate Fund – Debt, launched in April 2024. The fund is registered as a Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) with SEBI, designed to raise a corpus of ₹1,000 crore, with an additional green shoe option of another ₹1,000 crore. The fund focuses on India's top eight cities, offering tailored solutions across debt, rental, and equity verticals to strengthen the residential real estate market. “We are building an independent real estate investment platform that offers robust solutions across the capital stack,” said Sharad Mittal, Founder & CEO of Arnya RealEstates Fund Advisors. Arnya's strategy is to leverage deep market insight, strong industry relationships, and a meticulous selection process to deliver long-term value and superior performance to its investors. The fund has already seen interest from a wide spectrum of backers, including high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and family offices, indicating strong confidence in its vision. With an eye on India’s Tier 1 markets, Arnya’s moves align with the upward momentum in urban housing. Its focused approach and structured investments are not only fueling residential development but also strengthening trust in alternative investment platforms.
