Bahucharaji or Becharaji is a temple town in Mehsana, Gujarat. The town is known for its shrine to Bahuchar Mata, who is worshipped as Bala. It is one of Gujarat&rsquo;s three Shakti Peeths, the other two being Pavagadh and Ambaii.
Becharaji real estate is much sought after and several new complexes have come up such as Dayanand Complex. The Becahraji Taluka Purchase Sales Unions, Becharaji Taluka Kharid Vechan Sangh and Becharaji APMC are located here. Banks such as Mehsana District Cooperative Bank and State Bank of India have established branches here. Most restaurants and hotels are along the highway.
Bahucharaji is well connected with different parts of the district, such as Viramgam, Chanasma and Mehsana, through state transport buses and the trains. The SH 7 that continues from the NH 14 continues to Becharaji from Chanasma, Patan and Deesa and continues on to Halvad, Dhrangadhra, Maliya nad Viramgam. The NH8A can be accessed from Maliya which continues till Kutch.

Mehsana: Home to the Dudhsagar Dairy
Mehsana is a city of Gujarat and is the administrative capital of the Mehsana District. It is located 75 kilometres towards the north of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The city is known as a major milk producer of Gujarat.
Transportation
For commuting within the city, bus services operated by the municipality are available and they connect Mehsana to the closest villages. Alternatively, one can use auto rickshaws as well. The GSRTC, a state owned body, offers bus services to connect Mehsana to different parts of Gujarat. Mehsana enjoys good connectivity with the towns of Patan, Palanpur and Unjha in the state apart from the state capital.
Daily Trains from Mehsana ply every day to Mumbai and Delhi and bi-weekly or weekly direct trains connect it to important cities of south and north India. The Mahesana Railway Station serves the city and is along the Ahmedabad Jaipur Railway Route. The closest airport to Mehsana is the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad. Mehsana has a non-scheduled operation airport and civic aviation training centre. The latter is operated by the Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics Ltd.
Economy
Mehsana has a host of agriculture and dairy industries. The city is known for the Dudhsagar Dairy, which makes use of the local Mehsani buffalo breed. The Dudhsagar Dairy is a member of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. in Anand. The Dudhsagar Dairy is the biggest dairy of Asia and produces 1.41 million kilegrams of milk every day.
The Mehsana Fields was founded in November 1967 and is one of the biggest onshore producing assets of ONGC. The area has 28 fields that cover 6000 sq. km. The city has 16 gas wells and 1311 oil wells that produce 5800 tonnes every day.
Apart from oil and natural gas and dairy industries, the financial sector of Mehsana is quite stable. It has several private, cooperative and nationalized sector banks. There are several small and big road equipment manufacturing industries in the city which are located in the Mehsana Dediyasan GIDC. The city is counted among the biggest manufacturers of road equipment. Mehsana real estate is quite flourishing as there are several developers coming up with apartment enclaves in the city.
Lifestyle
Mehsana has numerous educational institutions. The Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Mehsana and NG International School are counted among the top schools of the city. The Ganpat University is situated 10 kilometres from the city and specializes in imparting education in engineering, IT, agriculture, pharmacy, and commerce and science streams. The Gujarat Power Engineering College offers courses in management and engineering.
Mehsana has several multispecialty hospitals including the Lions Hospitals, General Civil Government Hospital, Global Multi Speciality Hospital, Sai Krishna Hi Tech Hospital and Research Institute, Mehsana District Bank General Hospital and GK Orthopaedic Hospital. Smaller clinics belonging to private practitioners are there along the Jail Road and Dairy Road areas.
There are several entertainment zones within the city such as BK Cinema, Prashant Cinema, Cine Pulse and Wide Angle Multiplex. The Tirupati Nature Park and Shanku&rsquo;s Water Park attract locals during the weekends.
Property in Mehsana is available in terms of per sq. yd. basis and hovers around Rs 9000 or so. Therefore for 3 BHK villas and similar Mehsana property, one would have to pay Rs 30 lakhs or so. Dediyasan and Becharji are two of the areas where new properties are coming up in Mehsana.
