• Chennai: Known for subsea cable connections and strategic location near South-East Asia, Chennai is a preferred gateway for global data traffic. Its established IT corridor further boosts facility expansions.
• Bengaluru: A hotbed for tech startups and IT-BPM, Bengaluru hosts data centers catering to software giants and cloud providers. Reliable power supply and a vast talent pool add to its appeal.
• Delhi-NCR: Proximity to government agencies and large corporate HQs drives capacity expansions in Noida and Gurgaon. This region benefits from improved connectivity and the presence of major BFSI operations.

Other cities—like Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata—are also gaining traction, driven by rising digital consumption, cost advantages, and targeted state-level incentives. As data localization requirements intensify, these existing hubs and emerging markets will collectively meet India’s soaring data center demands.
