Passive House Standard The Passive House standard, also known as Passivhaus, is a highly energy-efficient building standard using bioclimatic architecture resources achieving energy efficiency ensuring comfortable indoor temperature year-round without conventional heating.

  • Space heating demand not exceed 15 kWh/m² annually
  • Primary energy total not exceed 60 kWh/m² yearly
  • Airtightness with no more than 0.6 air changes hourly
  • Thermal comfort with no more than 10% hours exceeding 25°C
