Sunday PropTech Sets Strong Financial Goals

Hospitality asset-owner Sunday PropTech (also known as OYO Assets), backed by PRISM, is targeting an EBITDA of about ₹42 crore for FY26 - its first full fiscal year of operations. The company plans to drive this growth by acquiring and operating a larger portfolio of hotels under its Sunday Hotels and Palette Hotels brands.

Acquisition Strategy in Motion

As part of its aggressive expansion plan, Sunday PropTech is looking to acquire a total of 12 hotels in FY26. So far, it has signed agreements for seven properties. These are expected to significantly contribute to its revenue base as the company scales its operations.

Looking Ahead to FY27

Looking further ahead, Sunday PropTech is planning for a threefold growth in EBITDA to ~₹119 crore in FY27. The company projects its full-year revenue to reach ~₹222 crore in the same year, driven by both organic growth and its expanding hotel portfolio.

Capital Infusion & Backing

To fuel its growth, Sunday PropTech recently raised ₹50 crore from a consortium that includes InCred and Analah. This capital is expected to support further hotel acquisitions and help the company scale its operations efficiently.

Implications for the PropTech Sector

Sunday PropTech’s ambitious financial roadmap highlights the evolving role of proptech in India - not just as a technology enabler, but as a real-estate operating company. Its strong EBITDA targets and aggressive acquisition strategy position it as a rising player in the hospitality-proptech convergence space.
