WeWork India Opens 1.1 Lakh Sq Ft

WeWork India Management Limited, a premier operator in the flexible workspace sector, has officially inaugurated a new flagship centre in Aerocity, New Delhi. Spanning approximately 1.1 lakh square feet, the facility, named WeWork Worldmark 6, is located on the third floor of the prominent development. This launch marks the company's 17th centre in the Delhi-NCR region and significantly strengthens its presence in one of India's most strategically located business districts.

Facility Features and Enterprise Demand

The new centre is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses, offering over 1,400 desks along with a suite of premium amenities. The facility includes technology-enabled meeting systems, full administrative support, diverse F&B options, and curated community programming. Arnav S. Gusain, Chief of Supply at WeWork India, noted that Aerocity is emerging as a critical node for enterprise-led growth, with a clear shift in demand toward high-quality assets that support scale and speed for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and large enterprises.

WeWork India’s Growing National Footprint

Since commencing operations in 2017, WeWork India has established a robust national presence. As of December 2025, the company operates 73 centres across eight major cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad, covering a total area of 8.2 million square feet. The firm currently manages over 1.21 lakh desks across India, maintaining strong partnerships with institutional landlords and property consultants to drive the sector's growth.

The Flexible Workspace Market in Delhi-NCR

The launch arrives at a time of unprecedented growth for the flexible workspace market in India, which has recently crossed the 100 million square feet mark. According to a report by CBRE India, total inventory in this sector tripled between 2020 and 2025. While Bengaluru remains the largest market with over 30 million square feet, Delhi-NCR ranks as the second-largest hub with an inventory of 21–23 million square feet, driven by the increasing integration of flexible options into core real estate strategies.

Future Outlook for Managed Office Solutions

Industry experts anticipate that premium, well-connected hubs like Aerocity will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of work in North India. The proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport and primary transit networks makes such locations highly attractive for globally integrated businesses. As the market matures, the focus is expected to remain on providing managed enterprise solutions that offer the flexibility required by modern corporations to navigate volatile economic cycles.
