Aldar Partners with PureHealth on Wellness Communities

Aldar and PureHealth have entered a strategic partnership to design and deliver health longevity-focused communities that embed technology, health, and wellness into everyday life. Described as one of the first initiatives of its kind, the collaboration combines PureHealth's leadership in healthcare and longevity science with Aldar's expertise in building integrated, human-centric master-planned communities, establishing a new model for wellness-driven living environments in Abu Dhabi.

Aligned With National Wellbeing Goals

The partnership supports the UAE's broader ambition to become a global hub for health longevity and sustainable living, aligning with national initiatives such as the National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031 and Abu Dhabi's Longevity and Precision Medicine Declaration. Through the agreement, the two companies will explore ways to integrate wellness and preventive care into the fabric of communities, from home and neighbourhood design to everyday experiences that support long-term health.

Why the Built Environment Matters for Health

Aldar Development CEO Jonathan Emery said the partnership reflects a shared belief that wellbeing should be built into the places people call home, positioning wellness as a defining principle of how Aldar plans and operates its destinations. This focus carries particular weight given that people globally spend up to 90 per cent of their time indoors, making the built environment a critical factor in long-term health especially in hot climates like the UAE, where indoor air quality, safe water access, daylight exposure, and greenery all play a role in wellbeing.

What Comes Next

As the partnership develops, Aldar and PureHealth will assess opportunities to introduce pilot initiatives across selected communities and assets, helping shape future approaches that bring together healthcare, technology, and real estate. The companies say the collaboration is intended to enhance quality of life, improve health outcomes, and generate long-term community and economic value, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a hub for life sciences and sustainable living.
