Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to distribute 26,426 house-site pattas and conveyance deeds in Visakhapatnam on September 19, 2026.
The beneficiaries have been identified across seven Assembly constituencies in the city.
The distribution programme is planned at the Andhra University College of Engineering grounds.
The pattas are intended for eligible families who have been living on government land and have constructed houses on plots measuring up to 100 square yards.
The documents will regularise the house sites and existing constructions on eligible plots, The Times of India reported.
Gajuwaka and Visakhapatnam East Have More Beneficiaries
Gajuwaka has the highest number of identified beneficiaries at 5,597. Visakhapatnam East follows with 5,107 beneficiaries, while Visakhapatnam West has 4,975 and Bheemunipatnam has 4,198.
Pendurthi has 2,896 beneficiaries, followed by Visakhapatnam North with 2,425 and Visakhapatnam South with 1,228.
District authorities have prepared constituency-wise beneficiary lists and are making arrangements to ensure eligible recipients receive their documents during the programme.

House Pattas to Provide Legal Property Documents
The distribution will provide eligible beneficiaries with formal property documents for their house sites.
Such documents can help establish legal ownership and provide access to government services and housing-related benefits, officials said.
The programme forms part of Andhra Pradesh's wider housing and land-allotment measures.
The state has also issued guidelines for house-site pattas under its Housing for All programme, with separate plot-size provisions for rural and urban areas.

Visakhapatnam CM Visit Includes Beach Programme
The Chief Minister's September 19 visit will also include a Swarnandhra-Swachh Andhra programme along Beach Road.
A Nirmal Sagar pilot project is scheduled to be launched as part of the programme.
The initiative is expected to focus on beach cleaning, marine-waste recycling and livelihood opportunities.
District authorities are coordinating arrangements for both programmes in Visakhapatnam.
