The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has entered the third week of its My E-Khata My Hakku campaign, an initiative launched under the Karnataka government's Bhoo Guarantee programme to accelerate e-khata services and address long-pending property documentation issues.
The campaign is being conducted across Bengaluru through dedicated service centres where citizens can access multiple property-related services in a single location.
According to the programme details, e-khata services are being provided through nearly 50 centres across the city. These centres have been established across the five city corporations under GBA to improve accessibility and reduce delays faced by property owners.
Officials have deployed staff, technical teams, scanners, printers, internet-enabled systems and support counters to process applications and resolve citizen grievances on-site.
The initiative has been designed as a one-stop solution for property-related documentation requirements. Citizens visiting the centres can seek assistance for multiple services connected to e-khata processing and corrections.
The campaign has received significant participation from property owners since its launch. Data shared by authorities earlier showed that thousands of applications were submitted during the initial rounds of the drive, with several applications being processed and approved on the spot.
The programme is part of a broader effort to improve transparency and strengthen digital property record management across Bengaluru.
The e-khata initiative is linked to the government's larger objective of digitising property ownership records and reducing documentation-related disputes. Authorities have stated that lakhs of property records have already been scanned and digitised under the programme.
The campaign also aims to help property owners obtain legally recognised digital records while simplifying administrative procedures related to ownership documentation.
Applicants visiting the centres have been advised to carry relevant property documents, tax records, identity proof and supporting paperwork required for processing applications.
With the campaign continuing into its third week, GBA officials are encouraging eligible property owners to utilise the available centres and complete pending e-khata-related procedures.
