Rosewood AMAALA Red Sea Global Triple Bay luxury resort branded residences Saudi Arabia

Red Sea Global has opened Rosewood AMAALA, a luxury resort at Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia's northwestern Red Sea coast.

Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the low-density development spans approximately 40 hectares and has been built to sit within the landscape rather than dominate it, drawing on the natural beauty of the Red Sea and the mountains of Tabuk.

The opening is a milestone in Red Sea Global's strategy to position AMAALA as the Kingdom's flagship wellness destination.

What the Resort Contains

Rosewood AMAALA offers 110 keys arranged in clusters set within green sanctuaries. The layout emphasises privacy and calm throughout:

  • Pavilions, suites and villas, each with private swimming pools
  • Multiple shared resort pools and indoor-outdoor living spaces
  • Two natural rock pools set directly on the Red Sea coast
  • Eight culinary experiences covering Mediterranean dining, modern grill, lounges and poolside bars
  • Rosewood Explorers kids' club and children's recreational facilities

Asaya Spa and Wellness at the Core

Wellness is central to the resort's positioning. The Asaya spa covers 2,100 sqm and is built around a broad range of restorative facilities:

  • Six treatment rooms and a double suite
  • Private hammam and wet areas with sauna and steam rooms for men and women
  • Two fitness centres equipped with Technogym Artis, one dedicated to women
  • Yoga and movement studios
  • Social House: a private day spa bookable exclusively by one group for the full day

26 Branded Residences Alongside the Resort

Complementing the hotel, Rosewood Residences AMAALA comprises an exclusive collection of 26 branded villas ranging from three to five bedrooms, with interiors by Tristan Auer.

The residences offer residential-style living within a fully serviced luxury hospitality environment, giving owners access to all resort amenities while maintaining the privacy of a private villa.

Sustainability Built Into the Destination

Rosewood AMAALA will be fully powered by solar energy alongside the rest of the AMAALA destination. Red Sea Global has also set a target of achieving a 30% net conservation gain across the destination by 2040.

John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, said the opening strengthens AMAALA's position as a world-class wellness destination by combining Rosewood's approach to luxury hospitality with personalised wellbeing experiences rooted in nature, culture and place.

He added that the resort expands the range of experiences available to guests seeking restorative and immersive stays along the Red Sea coast, building on a growing collection of wellness operators and hospitality partners at the destination.
