In a defining leadership transition, Vikas Jain, CEO of Labdhi Lifestyle, has been unanimously appointed as President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen—the youth-oriented arm of the National Real Estate Development Council, Maharashtra. This appointment signals a bold new direction for the real estate sector, as India prepares for a transformative phase with the industry projected to reach a market size of US$1 trillion by 2030.

A Leader with a Proven Track Record

A first-generation developer from Mumbai, Vikas Jain succeeds Ridham Gada, who now assumes the role of Vice-Chairman, NextGen. Jain is widely recognized as a turnaround specialist, having revived stressed projects and built Labdhi Lifestyle into a trusted brand within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). His leadership is characterized by a strategic, finance-first approach—a philosophy that aligns perfectly with NextGen’s renewed focus on innovation and growth.

As President, Vikas Jain brings a holistic vision for NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen. For the year 2025-26, Jain has chosen finance as the central theme. The association’s calendar will focus on deepening members’ knowledge of capital raising, valuations, and access to new capital structures and public finances. “The sector needs to build a credible and transparent ecosystem to attract consistent capital inflows,” he explained.

“As a next-generation leader, I believe our approach must be future-ready and multidimensional,” Jain added. “Along with financial reforms, we must professionalize the management of real estate businesses and embed a culture of innovation, governance, and customer-centricity. The goal is to empower the next generation of developers to be not just builders, but responsible, forward-thinking entrepreneurs.”
