The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hub71 to strengthen technology and startup solutions in Abu Dhabi's real estate sector.
ADREC is an affiliate of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and serves as the custodian and regulator of Abu Dhabi's real estate sector. Hub71 is Abu Dhabi's global technology ecosystem.
The MoU was signed at LIVEX 2026, the Liveability and Investment Exhibition. The agreement aims to connect Abu Dhabi's real estate sector with the emirate's technology ecosystem.
The agreement will give startups access to a regulated market where they can test their technology at scale. Startups will have opportunities to work with government and industry partners and respond to demand from real customers.
For ADREC, the partnership provides early access to technology and talent that can help address priorities across the real estate sector.
Under the framework, ADREC will identify challenges facing the real estate sector and work with Hub71 to connect relevant startups with opportunities to test and validate their solutions through potential pilot projects.
ADREC will also refer startups from its network to Hub71's programmes. The centre will contribute real estate sector expertise to Hub71's selection process to help identify startups and solutions that are relevant to the sector.
Rashed Al Omaira, Director-General of ADREC, said technology is central to the growth and competitiveness of Abu Dhabi's real estate sector.
He said the partnership connects the real estate and technology sectors and provides access to startups and talent that can address priorities across regulation, property transactions and property management.

Through the partnership, ADREC and Hub71 will work to create opportunities for technology startups to develop and test solutions relevant to Abu Dhabi's real estate sector.
