Hungarian real estate investment company Appeninn Nyrt. made two significant acquisitions in Poland during 2026, increasing the value of its property portfolio.
In February, the company acquired a 56,000 sqm logistics centre in Tarnów, which is leased long-term by Goodyear. In July, Appeninn completed the DEKADA acquisition, adding seven retail parks and four shopping centres with approximately 53,000 sqm of leasable area.
Following the two transactions, Appeninn's Polish property holdings reached €170 million in value. The portfolio now covers all three of the company's strategic segments: office, logistics and retail.
The DEKADA properties have an occupancy rate of 95% and generate annual gross rental income of more than €10 million.
Following the DEKADA acquisition, Appeninn's overall property portfolio grew to more than 230,000 sqm. Its total value surpassed €290 million.
The company said the acquisitions have increased the scale and diversification of its property holdings across Central and Eastern Europe.
Appeninn's rental income increased by 5% in the first half of 2026 to €11.339 million. The company said the increase was driven primarily by the Tarnów logistics acquisition.
A significant strengthening of the forint affected consolidated post-tax profit. However, direct contribution reached €7.487 million, while adjusted EBITDA stood at €6.913 million.
The adjusted EBITDA margin remained above 60% during the period.
