ASAS Real Estate, the real estate arm of Sharjah Islamic Bank, has started infrastructure development works across 11 residential, commercial and industrial land projects in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The development programme covers internal roads, electricity, water and telecommunications networks, as well as street lighting.
The works are intended to prepare the projects for their next stages of construction and development.
Infrastructure and Essential Services
The infrastructure works are being carried out to provide the essential services needed to prepare the land for construction.
ASAS Real Estate said the work is being coordinated with relevant Sharjah government entities and carried out according to approved technical requirements and quality standards.
The projects covered by the programme include residential and commercial developments at Al Dabdabah South, Al Dabdabah North, Hooshi, Al Belaida Phases Two and Three, Al Rowaidat and Al Metraq.
Industrial and Commercial Projects Included
The infrastructure plan also covers the industrial and commercial projects at Al Qasimia Phase Four and Al Sajaa.
ASAS Real Estate's two newest projects are also included: Muhadhab, a residential and commercial development and Logistics City, designated for commercial and industrial uses.
The projects are located in areas connected to major routes across Sharjah. According to ASAS Real Estate, these locations provide access to other parts of the emirate and neighbouring emirates.
Key Locations Across Sharjah
Muhadhab is located directly on Emirates Road between Ajman and Umm Al Qaiwain.
Al Dabdabah South is near the Al Rahmaniya suburb on Emirates Road, while the Hooshi plots are also close to Emirates Road. The Al Belaida plots are located near Dubai.
Al Rowaidat is situated on Khorfakkan Road, one of Sharjah's main routes.
Together with ASAS Real Estate's other projects across the emirate, the developments form part of the company's activities supporting residential, commercial and industrial uses.

ASAS Highlights Next Development Stage
Aamir Al Zarooni, General Manager of ASAS Real Estate, said the start of infrastructure works is an important stage in preparing the projects for their next phase of development.
He said the infrastructure would provide essential services and networks needed for construction and investment. Al Zarooni added that ASAS Real Estate is working with the relevant Sharjah government entities to complete the works according to technical standards and approved timelines.
The company said the infrastructure programme is intended to support the development of integrated projects that can meet the needs of residential, commercial and industrial activities across Sharjah.
