Ganesh Housing Limited, a prominent listed real estate developer based in Ahmedabad, has officially launched Million Minds Tech City (MMTC), a massive IT SEZ Park spread across 65 acres near GIFT City. Conceived as a future-ready economic ecosystem and Ahmedabad's first integrated Tech City, the project boasts an overall planned development potential of approximately 18 million square feet. The integrated ecosystem will comprise nearly 10 million sq ft of Grade A commercial and technology office spaces, close to six million sq ft of premium residential developments, and approximately two million sq ft dedicated to retail, hospitality, social, and lifestyle infrastructure.
The premium IT SEZ is strategically situated at Vaishnodevi Circle within the high-growth Ahmedabad–GIFT City–Gandhinagar corridor, a prime infrastructure belt designed to capture the influx of tech capital. To ensure world-class delivery and execution, Ganesh Housing is developing the project in collaboration with international real estate operator Tishman Speyer as the project management partner, and RSP Architects anchoring the core design framework. The entire campus has received IGBC Platinum certification, the highest green building recognition in India, integrating smart building systems and AI-enabled operational efficiencies.
The ₹15,000 crore development is being constructed in successive phases, with Phase 1 already recording notable transactional traction. According to Shekhar Patel, Managing Director and CEO of Ganesh Housing Ltd., Million Minds Tech City is fundamentally an economic growth and employment generation story for the state. The project is structurally designed to catalyze over 70,000 high-skilled jobs, enabling the critical reverse migration of Gujarat's premium talent pool while positioning Ahmedabad alongside India's traditional Tier-1 technology capitals like Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The integration of the GREMI City Campus within the park highlights a deliberate push to build a strong, industry-linked talent ecosystem capable of supporting next-generation corporate occupier demands.
Speaking at the launch event, Union Minister of Home and Cooperation Amit Shah emphasised that Gujarat is transitioning decisively from a manufacturing powerhouse into a global hub for technology, innovation, and high-skilled services. The development's campus environment incorporates premium employee-focused amenities, including cafés, sports facilities, a large gym, creche facilities, and a central food court designed to accommodate 450 professionals simultaneously. By offering complete asset clarity, plug-and-play spaces, and luxury co-living options, MMTC is establishing a competitive benchmark capable of challenging established metro markets through a powerful convergence of infrastructure and policy support.
