Gauahar Khan Sells Versova Duplex for Rs 6.01 Crore

Gauahar Khan has sold her duplex in Mumbai's Versova for Rs 6.01 crore. This is according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.

Khan bought the apartment in November 2014 for Rs 3.2 crore. That is an 88 percent appreciation in nearly 12 years.

The transaction was registered on September 24, 2026. The property is in Versova Shiv Kutir Co-operative Housing Society Ltd., S.V.P. Nagar, Versova, Andheri West.

About the Duplex

The duplex is on a higher floor of the building. It spreads across two floors.

The document does not mention any car parking associated with the transaction. The property was sold to the buyers at a consideration value of Rs 6.01 crore, and the purchasers paid stamp duty of Rs 36.06 lakh as part of the deal.

How the Numbers Work Out

Khan's recorded consideration value has increased by Rs 2.81 crore since 2014. This represents nearly an 88 percent increase over her original purchase price.

Based on the built-up area of 1,872 sq ft, the deal works out to around Rs 32,100 per sq ft. On the super built-up area of 2,340 sq ft, the rate is around Rs 25,700 per sq ft.

These figures are based on the consideration value in the registration document. Khan and the buyers could not be reached for comment.

Versova's Celebrity Connection

Versova, Juhu, Lokhandwala, and Bandra are among the areas making news for property deals involving public figures.

This includes TV actors and Bollywood personalities. Recent names include Ronit Roy, Randeep Hooda, Tabu, Virat Kohli, and Anushka Sharma. Gauahar Khan's sale adds to this list of notable transactions in the western suburbs of Mumbai.

In June 2024, Ronit Roy and his wife, Neelam Roy, bought a 4,258 sq ft apartment in Lodha Versova for Rs 18.94 crore.

The deal included four car parking spaces and was registered on June 10, 2024.

Randeep Hooda bought a 1,530 sq ft apartment in Bianca CHS in Versova for Rs 5.63 crore.

The transaction was reported on June 27, 2025, according to registration documents reviewed by HT.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, along with family members, bought multiple apartments in Godrej Skyshore, Versova. The deal was worth over Rs 43 crore and took place in July 2026.
