Hellmann Worldwide Logistics leases 5,350 sqm at MLP Poznan

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska has signed a lease for 5,350 sqm at MLP Poznan, a logistics park located in Koninko near Poznan, Poland.

The leased space will primarily be used for warehousing, while nearly 500 sqm will be allocated to office and staff facilities. The facility is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027.

The transaction reflects the company's need for additional operational space as its business continues to grow in the region.

New Facility Supports Logistics Growth

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska specialises in domestic and international pallet shipments and operates through the GlobKurier.pl platform.

The new facility will provide the company with modern warehouse infrastructure to support its logistics operations and accommodate future business requirements.

According to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, which advised Hellmann on the transaction, the company's existing space was no longer sufficient because of its rapid growth.

MLP Poznan Offers Strategic Location

MLP Poznan is being developed on a 19.2-hectare site and is planned to ultimately provide approximately 90,000 sqm of warehouse and production space.

The logistics park is directly adjacent to the S11 expressway, providing connectivity between Poznan and Katowice. It is approximately 16 kilometres from Poznan city centre and around four kilometres from the A2 motorway.

The location provides logistics companies with access to important road infrastructure and regional markets.

Focus on Sustainable Logistics Space

All buildings at MLP Poznan are subject to BREEAM certification, reflecting the growing focus on energy efficiency and environmental standards in Poland's logistics property sector.

Modern logistics occupiers are increasingly looking for facilities that combine efficient layouts, strong transport connections and sustainability features.

For Hellmann, the new space is intended to provide an efficient and environmentally conscious facility capable of supporting its expanding operations.

Poznan Remains Key Logistics Hub

Poznan continues to be an important logistics and industrial market in Poland because of its strategic position within the country's road network and access to major domestic and European markets.

Its proximity to the A2 motorway and other major transport routes has helped attract warehouse developers, logistics operators and manufacturing companies.

The Hellmann lease adds another major occupier to the region and demonstrates continued demand for modern logistics facilities.

MLP Group Strengthens Tenant Base

For MLP Group, the agreement strengthens the tenant base at MLP Poznan while supporting the park's development pipeline.

The project is designed to accommodate businesses requiring modern warehouse and production space in a well-connected location.

As logistics activity and e-commerce continue to support demand for warehouse infrastructure, facilities such as MLP Poznan are expected to remain important to Poland's industrial real estate market.

Hellmann's 5,350 sqm lease therefore represents both an expansion of its regional operations and another sign of sustained occupier demand in the Poznan logistics sector.
