According to property registration documents, Sonakshi Sinha rents out her luxury flat in Mumbai's Bandra to the Consulate of Kuwait for a total rent of ₹1.92 crore for one year. The apartment will be used as the official residence of the Consul General of Kuwait in Mumbai.
The high-value rental agreement highlights the growing demand for premium residential properties in Mumbai’s real estate markets. The transaction was reportedly registered on May 25, 2026.
The luxury apartment is located in Bandra West, one of Mumbai’s most prestigious residential areas. The property has been leased to the Consulate of Kuwait for residential accommodation of Consul General Emad Abdul Aziz Al-Kharaz, along with his family members and staff.
As per the documents, the lease agreement is valid for 12 months. The monthly rent for the apartment has been fixed at ₹16 lakh, taking the total rental value to ₹1.92 crore for the year. The lease period will begin on June 7, 2026, and continue until June 6, 2027.
The apartment is situated in 81 Aureate, a premium residential tower in Bandra West. According to the registration documents, the residence has a carpet area of 4,350 square feet along with an additional servant’s toilet area measuring 27 square feet.
The luxury flat was leased along with three parking spaces. The building is known for its luxury lifestyle facilities and modern amenities.
