Sonakshi Sinha’s Bandra Flat

Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha has made headlines once again, but this time it is because of a major real estate transaction. According to property registration documents, Sonakshi Sinha rents out her luxury flat in Mumbai's Bandra to the Consulate of Kuwait for a total rent of ₹1.92 crore for one year. The apartment will be used as the official residence of the Consul General of Kuwait in Mumbai.

The high-value rental agreement highlights the growing demand for premium residential properties in Mumbai’s real estate markets. The transaction was reportedly registered on May 25, 2026.

Sonakshi Sinha’s Bandra Apartment Leased for ₹1.92 Crore

The luxury apartment is located in Bandra West, one of Mumbai’s most prestigious residential areas. The property has been leased to the Consulate of Kuwait for residential accommodation of Consul General Emad Abdul Aziz Al-Kharaz, along with his family members and staff.

As per the documents, the lease agreement is valid for 12 months. The monthly rent for the apartment has been fixed at ₹16 lakh, taking the total rental value to ₹1.92 crore for the year. The lease period will begin on June 7, 2026, and continue until June 6, 2027.

Details of the Luxury Property

The apartment is situated in 81 Aureate, a premium residential tower in Bandra West. According to the registration documents, the residence has a carpet area of 4,350 square feet along with an additional servant’s toilet area measuring 27 square feet.

The luxury flat was leased along with three parking spaces. The building is known for its luxury lifestyle facilities and modern amenities.

Some of the amenities available in the building include:

  • Gymnasium
  • Library
  • Conference room
  • Swimming pools
  • Walking and jogging tracks
  • Yoga studio
  • Banquet hall
  • Clubhouse
  • Kids’ play area
  • Garden spaces
  • Open-sky fitness centre

The tenant can use these facilities without any additional charges under the agreement.

Why This Rental Deal Stands Out

The transaction has attracted attention because of its size and the profile of the tenant. Leasing luxury homes to diplomatic missions and consulates is not very common, making this deal one of the notable rental agreements in Mumbai’s premium housing segment.

The apartment will serve as the official residence of the Consulate of Kuwait in Mumbai. According to reports, the property was specifically rented to accommodate the diplomat, family members, and support staff.

Mumbai’s Luxury Rental Market Continues to Grow

The deal also reflects the strong demand for high-end residential properties in Mumbai. Premium locations such as Bandra West continue to attract corporate executives, celebrities, expatriates, and diplomatic officials looking for luxury housing options.

Mumbai remains one of India’s most active real estate markets. Property registrations and rental agreements continue to record strong numbers every month, showing steady demand across both residential sales and rental segments.
