Redkom Breaks Ground on Tarnów Retail Park

Redkom Development has held a groundbreaking ceremony. The event took place at the site of its retail park under construction.

The location is Lwowska Street in Tarnów, one of the city's main transport routes. Representatives of general contractor SPEC BAU Polska and city authorities attended.

The ceremony marked the laying of a foundation capsule. It also marked the signing of a construction act.

The complex will span nearly 35,000 square metres. This includes retail, service, and entertainment space across around 30 units.

It is scheduled to open in 2027. The project is set to become the largest retail park in Tarnów, and one of the largest of its kind in southern Poland.

What the Project Director Said

Michał Szwedzicki is the project director at Redkom Development. He said construction of the retail park in Tarnów is progressing according to schedule.

He added that the ceremony symbolically underlines the progress of works. He noted that further months of intensive construction lie ahead.

He said the result will be the largest retail project completed to date by Redkom Development.

Elżbieta Kutrasińska is Head of Leasing at Redkom Development. She said the project has attracted a strong mix of well-established brands.

She added that this creates a balanced offer that will serve both local residents and the wider region.

Confirmed Tenants

Around 90 percent of the scheme's leasable space has already been secured. Several major retailers have confirmed their presence at the park.

• Lidl Polska, JULA, CCC, and Shock Price
• Rossmann, Martes Sport, Pepco, and Ochnik
• Sinsay, TEDi, Media Expert, and RTV Euro AGD
• Dr Materac, Xtreme Fitness Gyms, and an Agata furniture store

The scheme will also include a five-screen Cinema City cinema. This places it among the first retail parks in Poland to combine a retail park format with a cinema offer.

About Redkom Development

Redkom Development states it has already delivered more than 100,000 square metres of retail space. This is spread across its retail parks in Poland.

A further approximately 85,000 square metres is currently under construction.

Its completed portfolio includes BIG Łubna, Ozimska Park in Opole, and Comfy Park Bielik in Bielsko-Biała. It also includes Przystanek Karkonosze in Miłków, BIG Dzierżoniów, and Comfy Park Bydgoszcz.
