Sandberg Capital is expanding its real estate platform into the Czech Republic with an investment in Rezidence Hausmannova, a residential development in Prague's Modřany district.
The project is being delivered in partnership with FETTERS management s.r.o. It will bring 101 apartments to Prague 12, with apartment sales and construction scheduled to begin in October 2026.
Rezidence Hausmannova to Complete in 2028
Construction of Rezidence Hausmannova is expected to begin in October 2026. The project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2028.
The development marks Sandberg Capital's first residential project in the Czech Republic. The company said the investment is part of a longer-term strategy for the Czech residential market.
Sandberg Targets Czech Residential Portfolio
Sandberg Capital operates its real estate platform as a standalone pillar alongside its private equity activities.
The company has invested in residential projects across Slovakia and the Czech Republic with a combined gross development value exceeding €125 million.
The firm said its Czech expansion is not intended to be a single investment. Instead, it plans to build a standalone residential portfolio in the country.
First Czech Residential Project
Zuzana Kanalová, Investment Manager at Sandberg Capital, said Rezidence Hausmannova is the company's first residential project in the Czech Republic and the beginning of a longer-term strategy in the market.
She said the company's ambition is to establish a Czech residential portfolio rather than complete only one investment.

Project Located in Prague 12
Rezidence Hausmannova is located in the Modřany district of Prague, within Prague 12.
The project will add 101 residential units to the local housing market.
Apartment sales and construction are planned to start in October 2026, followed by the expected completion of the development in the fourth quarter of 2028.

Sandberg Continues Real Estate Expansion
The Czech investment adds another market to Sandberg Capital's residential development activities in Central Europe.
