Shantanu Mukherji, the Bollywood singer known as Shaan, and his wife Radhika Mukherji have purchased three flats in Bandra West, Mumbai.
The seller is developer NVK Realty LLP. The total consideration was Rs 47.64 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.
The apartments are located on higher floors of the Palmera project on Turner Road. They have a combined area of 6,267.87 sq ft.
Each unit was purchased for Rs 15.88 crore, the documents showed.
Deal details: a joined residence with nine parking spaces
The transaction attracted total stamp duty of Rs 2.70 crore. It was registered on August 20, 2026. The purchase also includes nine car parking spaces.
The three separate apartments have been joined to create a single new residence.
This was officially registered on the same date. The singer could not be reached for comment.
The developer's website notes that the building has some Bollywood history of its own.
The luxury condominium was formerly the home of veteran film actor Mala Sinha.
Part of a strong luxury housing market in Mumbai
The Rs 48-crore purchase comes amid a strong luxury housing market in Mumbai. The city recorded 1,499 luxury property registrations worth Rs 14,903 crore between April and June.
This is according to the Lighthouse Luxury Quarterly Luxury Real Estate Report, cited by Mumbai Mirror.
Last year, Shaan and Radhika had also purchased a luxury bungalow in Prabhachiwadi, Pune, for Rs 10 crore, according to documents reviewed by Square Yards.
That property included a plot of approximately 0.4 hectares, with a built-up area of around 5,500 sq ft.
The transaction incurred a stamp duty of Rs 50 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
Shantanu Mukherjee is a celebrated Indian playback singer, with a career spanning over two decades.
He has delivered numerous chart-topping hits, including songs from films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Tanu Weds Manu and Dus.
