BIG Poland has opened BIG Konstantynów, a new retail park in Konstantynów Łódzki, developed in partnership with Acteeum Group.

The development adds approximately 13,500 square metres of retail space to the company's portfolio, with all new retail units leased at opening.

Including the existing Kaufland supermarket and Bricomarché DIY store, the wider complex has approximately 21,000 square metres of gross leasable area (GLA).

BIG Konstantynów Expands Poland's Retail Property Portfolio

The opening brings BIG Poland's portfolio to 15 retail parks with a combined GLA of approximately 285,000 square metres.

BIG Konstantynów represents another addition to the company's retail property platform and strengthens its presence in the Łódź region.

The development was completed in partnership with Acteeum Group. Its approximately 13,500 sqm of new retail space was fully leased when the park opened, indicating that retailers had committed to the available units before the launch.

BIG Poland CEO Eran Levy said the development demonstrates the potential of established retail locations.

He also highlighted the 100% occupancy of the new retail space at opening as an indication of retailer confidence in the location.

Around 30 Retailers and Service Providers at the New Park

BIG Konstantynów accommodates approximately 30 stores across retail, electronics, fashion, home improvement and other consumer categories. Major tenants include New Yorker, Sinsay, CCC, Martes Sport, Jysk, MR DIY, Smyk and Maxi Zoo.

The complex also features electronics retailers RTV Euro AGD and Media Expert, along with drugstore brands Rossmann and Hebe.

A McDonald's drive-thru restaurant adds a food and beverage component to the retail offering.

Beyond shopping, the development includes a Medicover medical centre and a Well Fitness club. This combination of retail, healthcare, fitness and dining services gives the property a broader everyday-use offering for nearby residents.

Location and Connectivity in Konstantynów Łódzki

The retail park is situated on Łódzka Street, close to residential areas in Konstantynów Łódzki and the Retkinia district of Łódź.

Its location places the development within reach of surrounding residential communities.

The complex offers more than 750 parking spaces, a nearby tram stop, a petrol station and a car wash.

These facilities support access for visitors arriving by different modes of transport and provide additional convenience for customers.

The development's proximity to residential neighbourhoods is an important part of its positioning as a retail destination serving local shopping and service requirements.

BREEAM Excellent Rating for Environmental Performance

BIG Konstantynów has received a BREEAM Excellent rating for its environmental performance. The certification adds a sustainability dimension to the retail park's development credentials.

The project forms part of BIG Poland's wider development programme, which combines acquisitions of operating retail parks with extensions to existing properties.

The company also has two additional development projects in preparation in Piła and Bolesławiec.
