Cavatina Group has signed a preliminary agreement to purchase a plot on ul. Dworkowa in Bielsko-Biała. The company plans to develop a mixed-use project featuring a planetarium and a multifunctional hall for approximately 200 people.
The new building will be located opposite the existing Cavatina Hall concert venue. Together with Cavatina Studio, premium office buildings and the headquarters of the Fiducia Foundation, the projects are planned to form a cohesive complex on both sides of the street.
Planetarium to Offer Multiple Uses
The planned planetarium will operate as an immersive dome theatre, with the cupola serving as an all-encompassing projection screen.
Beyond astronomy programmes, the venue will host conferences, film screenings and concerts combining live music with projections. It will be open to schools, families, adult visitors and tourists.
The multifunctional hall will use an auditorium layout compatible with events already organised at Cavatina Hall.
Mixed-Use Development With Residential Space
The wider development will include office and service space alongside residential apartments. A two-storey podium will accommodate the multifunctional hall and retail units.
Two residential wings arranged in a V-shape will rise above the podium on either side of a central entrance courtyard.
Project Located in Bielsko-Biała City Centre
The development is planned in Bielsko-Biała city centre. The site is within walking distance of the city's main squares, town hall, public transport stops and railway station.
Cavatina Group said the project is intended to continue its activities in the city while creating additional cultural and community-oriented facilities.

Cavatina Hall Forms Part of the Complex
Cavatina Hall opened in 2022 and hosted 260 cultural events in 2025. It is also home to the Cavatina Philharmonic Orchestra, described as the first private professional symphony orchestra in Poland.
The Cavatina Guitar Festival is also based at the venue. Tickets for its fourth edition, scheduled for May 2027, are already on sale.

Planetarium to Expand Science Programming
The planned planetarium is expected to extend the complex's offer beyond music into science education and popular science programming.
Rafał Malarz, vice-president of Cavatina Group, said the company sees its role as extending beyond building offices and homes. He described the planetarium as a continuation of the path established by Cavatina Hall.
Chief architect Piotr Jasiński said the architecture draws inspiration from the city's surroundings. The design uses rounded forms for the planetarium and Cavatina Hall, with the dome intended to reflect elements of the Beskid landscape.
