Dubai is targeting more than 400 new employment opportunities for Emiratis in its real estate sector through an initiative led by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).

The fourth edition of its Real Estate Day for Emirati Employment aims to connect UAE nationals with companies, job opportunities and professional career pathways across the industry.

Dubai Land Department Targets 400 New Jobs

The latest initiative will add more than 400 employment opportunities to the 2,100 positions created through DLD initiatives between 2023 and 2026.

The programme is designed to expand employment opportunities for UAE nationals and strengthen their participation in the real estate industry.

According to Majid Saqr Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD, the department is bringing together strategic partners from academic institutions and businesses to provide opportunities for Emiratis.

The initiative has involved coordination with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai.

More Than 80 Real Estate Companies Participate

The fourth edition of Real Estate Day for Emirati Employment attracted participation from more than 80 companies operating across the real estate sector.

These companies took part to identify and recruit potential employees.

The event was held at the Address Sky View hotel on Thursday. It provided university students and jobseekers with an opportunity to interact directly with real estate companies.

Participants could learn about different job requirements, professional pathways and long-term career development opportunities.

The event also offered opportunities for on-the-spot interviews, helping candidates engage with prospective employers.

Dubai Real Estate Sector Records Growth in 2026

The employment initiative comes as Dubai's property market records growth in project activity and transaction value.

During the first half of 2026, the total value of Dubai's real estate sector increased by 52 per cent compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. It reached Dh111 billion.

The emirate completed 104 property projects in 2026, representing a 38.7 per cent increase in project numbers compared with 2025.

These figures were highlighted alongside the employment initiative as indicators of activity across the sector.
