Emaar Buyers Get Early Home Financing

Eligible Emaar Development customers can now secure pre-approval for financing of up to 50 per cent of a property's value under a new agreement with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB). The financing option covers ready and off-plan homes across Emaar Development's premium residential communities in Dubai, giving buyers a structured way to plan their funding well ahead of purchase.

Rather than waiting until a property is close to completion to start the mortgage process, buyers can now begin securing financing much earlier in their homebuying journey.

How the renewable pre-approval works

Initial pre-approval under the agreement remains valid for 12 months and can be renewed annually throughout the construction period until handover. This annually renewable structure means eligible buyers can arrange a substantial portion of their financing before an off-plan property is completed, reducing uncertainty over access to funds at the point of handover.

For buyers of off-plan homes in particular, this removes a significant source of financial unpredictability, since funding can be locked in well before construction is finished rather than being arranged under time pressure closer to delivery.

Customers can complete the application through a streamlined, digitally enabled process supported by ADCB's mortgage services, which is designed to simplify what has traditionally been a paperwork-heavy step in the homebuying process.

Rates and fees under the new deal

ADCB will offer interest or profit rates starting from 3.49 per cent per annum, fixed for three years, for a limited period. Eligible buyers will also pay no processing or valuation fees, reducing some of the upfront costs typically associated with arranging property finance. Together, the fixed-rate structure and fee waivers are intended to lower the overall cost of entry for buyers at the point of application, before construction or handover costs come into play.

Who the financing covers

The agreement extends financing options to buyers purchasing completed properties within Emaar Development's portfolio, in addition to those buying off-plan. This means the pre-approved financing structure is not limited to early-stage buyers alone, but is also available to those purchasing ready homes.

The companies said the financing solutions are intended to make home ownership more accessible by combining lower initial costs with greater visibility over funding during the construction period, giving buyers a clearer financial picture from the outset of their purchase rather than only once a property nears completion.
