Panattoni is starting construction of a new production facility for the Atlas Copco Group in Okmiany, Lower Silesia, Poland.
The build-to-suit (BTS) project will comprise nearly 5,600 square metres of modern industrial space designed around the manufacturer's operational requirements.
Atlas Copco Group is a global manufacturer of advanced industrial equipment. The new facility will support its production and service capabilities in Poland, a market the company has been developing for years.
The facility has been designed according to detailed guidelines provided by Atlas Copco Group.
Its layout will combine production space, a separate warehouse, offices and staff facilities within one building.
A dedicated area will also be provided for equipment repairs and servicing.
By incorporating the company's specific processes and standards from the design stage, the project aims to create a functional facility suited to its operational needs.
Atlas Copco Group plans to begin operations at the new Okmiany site in the second quarter of 2027.
The development is intended to strengthen the company's production and service capacity and help it respond to customer requirements.
Szymon Zych, Operations Manager at Atlas Copco Group, said the investment forms part of the company's long-term development strategy.
He described the new facility as an important element of its regional operations and said cooperation with Panattoni would help create a space supporting future business growth.

Jakub Jankowiak, BTS Development Director at Panattoni BTS, said the investment reflects Lower Silesia's ability to attract companies that require facilities tailored to their operations.
He noted that build-to-suit projects require close collaboration with the client from the design stage because the building's individual elements must accommodate specific processes.
The Okmiany facility will bring several operational functions together in one modern building.

Panattoni's latest project adds to its activity in Lower Silesia, where the developer has delivered close to 2.5 million square metres of industrial space over the past 15 years.
Build-to-suit and build-to-own projects accounted for almost 442,000 square metres of that total.
The Atlas Copco facility represents another tailored industrial development in the region.
Its planned combination of production, warehousing, office space and equipment servicing is intended to support the manufacturer's ongoing operations and long-term development in Poland.
