ThinkProp Launchs CCIM Programme

ThinkProp, a UAE-based real estate training institute launched by Advanced Real Estate Services (ADRES), has announced it will bring the CCIM Designation Programme to the UAE for the first time, offering the credential to professionals in Abu Dhabi and Dubai starting September 2026.

A Globally Recognised Commercial Real Estate Credential

Acting as the exclusive regional gateway for The CCIM Institute, ThinkProp will introduce a globally established standard in commercial real estate education to the UAE market. The CCIM designation has existed for more than 56 years and is currently held by over 13,000 professionals across more than 30 countries. It is designed to build advanced expertise in financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis.

Programme Structure and Format

The designation pathway consists of four core, face-to-face courses: Financial Analysis, Market Analysis, User Decision Analysis, and Investment Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate. Each course spans four days and 32 hours of instruction, followed by an exam. The complete pathway, including a Core Concepts Review and a final Comprehensive Examination, typically takes around 12 months to complete, depending on the cohort's pace.

  • Launch date: September 2026
  • Location: Abu Dhabi and Dubai
  • Inaugural cohort size: up to 100 participants
  • Four core courses, 32 hours each
  • Final exam: 80 multiple-choice questions over six hours
  • No admission requirements or interview process

Who Will Teach the Programme

Courses will be delivered by accredited CCIM instructors, supported by ThinkProp experts including senior executives from leading developers and other industry leaders, combining internationally recognised coursework with practical UAE market insights. Industry data cited by ThinkProp suggests CCIM-designated professionals can close significantly more transactions annually compared to typical industry specialists, reflecting the curriculum's investment-focused design.

Why This Matters for the UAE Market

Jasem Alhosani, Operations Lead at ThinkProp, described the launch as a milestone for commercial real estate education in the region, noting it gives professionals in Abu Dhabi and Dubai access to a globally respected credential delivered locally for the first time. He added that the programme is intended to equip professionals with analytical and investment skills applicable directly to the UAE market, supporting more informed decision-making across the sector.

The move builds on ThinkProp's position as the UAE's first government-accredited real estate training institute, with courses approved by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and the Dubai Land Department (DLD), further expanding access to specialised commercial real estate education across the country.
