
DHR Holding India Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary and Global Capability Centre of life sciences and diagnostics major Danaher Corporation, has leased approximately 1.8 lakh sq ft of office space in Bengaluru's Whitefield for a total rent of ₹88 crore over five years.
The lease commences from 1 April 2026 and has been signed with Sumadhura Group's entity Sumadhura Capitol Towers Private Limited, according to property registration data accessed by Propstack.
The leased premises span the ninth, 10th and 11th floors of Sumadhura Capitol Towers in Whitefield:

Danaher Corporation is a global science and technology company operating across life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology.
Its Indian operations cover research, technology, engineering and finance functions, with India becoming an important location for global capability operations.
The Whitefield lease reflects continued GCC expansion in one of Bengaluru's most active commercial corridors.

The corridor's appeal spans technology, financial services, life sciences and engineering a breadth of sector demand that gives it structural resilience against the kind of single-sector concentration risk that can affect more specialised micro-markets.

Bengaluru led India's office market in H1 2026 with 222.4 million sq ft of occupied stock, up 8% year-on-year.
GCCs accounted for a dominant share of leasing activity, with demand concentrated in established corridors like Whitefield where talent access, transport infrastructure and large-floor-plate Grade A buildings intersect.
For life sciences and diagnostics companies like Danaher, India offers a deep engineering and scientific talent pool that is increasingly difficult to replicate at comparable cost anywhere else in the world.
The Whitefield lease is a practical expression of that calculation.
