
Construction of 537 homes at Bay Grove Residences is moving ahead. The project is located on Dubai Islands and is already sold out.
Nakheel has awarded a main construction contract for the project. The contract is worth more than Dh800 million. It has been awarded to Metac General Contracting Co.
The contract covers Phases 1 and 3 of the waterfront development. It is worth more than Dh800 million, or approximately $218 million. Main construction works are expected to be completed in late 2028.
Phase 1 includes 296 homes across four residential buildings. Phase 3 will add another 241 homes across three buildings. The units range from one to four bedrooms.
Metac General Contracting Co has been appointed to carry out the works across all seven buildings.
Muhammad Sadiq Abdullah, Managing Director of Metac General Contracting, said the company is proud to partner with Nakheel on the project.
He added that its teams are mobilised and focused on safety, quality and programme management throughout delivery.

He added that this Dh800 million contract award moves the community into its next stage of delivery.

Bay Grove Residences is planned as a waterfront community. It will include landscaped communal areas, walking and cycling routes and access to Crystal Beach.
The full development will comprise 1,154 homes across 15 residential buildings once completed.
A further 617 homes are planned across Phases 2 and 4. Nakheel has said plans for these phases are progressing. Additional construction appointments will be announced in due course.

Bay Grove forms part of the wider Dubai Islands development. It is located off the coast of Deira.
The master-planned destination comprises five islands. It spans more than 20 kilometres of beaches. It also includes planned parks, open spaces, golf courses, hotels, cultural hubs and waterfront residential communities overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
